Everybody loves a gay animals story, don’t they?
Well, gay penguin couple Z and Vielpunkt, who live in a zoo in Bremerhaven, Germany, have hatched a chick which they are now rearing as if it were their own.
Staff at the zoo handed the egg to the male couple after it had been rejected by its biological parents. The chick is now a month old and doing well. A zoo spokesperson said “The happy fathers spend their days attentively protecting, caring for and feeding their adoptive offspring.”
Z and Vielpunkt are one of four gay couples living at the zoo. In 2006 the zoo imported four penguins from Sweden to try and seduce three other gay couples, but the Swedish temptresses were met with a frosty reception.
