Congratulations to four young people from our local South Ribble-based LGBT youth group Pout who were again part of the gold medal winning bell boat race team at Pride Youth Games earlier this month.
Over the weekend the youngsters also had a go at track and field athletics, canoeing, archery, mountain biking, and orienteering, and relaxed at a pool party at Moss Side swimming pool in Manchester.
Meanwhile a new LGBT youth group has just opened in Preston. Like Pout, the group is run by workers from Lancashire Young People’s Service.
